WasabiSearch is designed to allow users to search for files stored in their own Wasabi S3-compatible cloud storage.

Searches may require the application to scan object keys using the S3 ListObjectsV2 API and its pagination mechanism.
WasabiSearch does not upload, modify or delete objects as part of its search functionality.
WasabiSearch may process object names, paths and related information returned by the configured S3-compatible service in order to perform searches and display results.
This information is processed as part of the application’s functionality.
WasabiSearch does not need to download the contents of files in order to search their filenames.
Search terms entered into WasabiSearch are used to find matching filenames within the selected bucket.
The application does not use your search queries for advertising or marketing purposes.
WasabiSearch does not require you to create a WasabiSearch user account.
The application does not require information such as your name, postal address or telephone number to provide its core search functionality.
WasabiSearch does not use your S3 credentials, bucket information, object paths or search queries for advertising.
If analytics or diagnostic services are introduced in a future version of the application, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the information collected and how it is used.
WasabiSearch connects to storage services configured by the user.
When using Wasabi or another S3-compatible service, information transmitted to that service is also subject to the privacy policy and terms of the respective service provider.
WasabiSearch is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wasabi Technologies.
WasabiSearch does not sell your personal information.
Your S3 access credentials are used for the purpose of communicating with the storage service configured by you.
Connection information stored by WasabiSearch remains on the device until it is removed through the application or otherwise removed from the device’s storage and Keychain environment.
You can remove configured credential profiles from within WasabiSearch.
Access keys can also be revoked or deleted through your S3 storage provider.
WasabiSearch uses Apple’s Keychain services for storing sensitive access credentials.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should never share your Secret Access Key with anyone, including when requesting technical support.
If you believe an access key has been exposed, revoke it through your storage provider and create a new one.
WasabiSearch is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when WasabiSearch functionality changes or when necessary to reflect legal, technical or regulatory requirements.
